HANDBAG ESSENTIALS

My bag is a whole universe in itself… more like a black hole; when I need something desperately I will just not find it (hopeless I know…). I do have a couple of things that never ever leave my bag; I have specific zip lock bags assigned for some. Here are some of the things that are crucial in my handbag.

Sunglasses never leave home without them I always have a spare in my bag since I wear contacts I never know when these come handy especially on sunny & windy days. My current favourites are these cat eyed beauties from ALDO that I picked up in sale a while ago.

Tissue papers have been a lifesaver for someone like me who has been suffering from chronic rhinitis and occasional nose bleeds (Sorry!! that was TMI) well that has made me a compulsive tissue paper hoarder and I feel handicapped if I don’t have one on me. Currently using these Selpak soft tissues (fragrance free) oh! And they are so travel friendly.

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water perfect for sensitive and slightly inflamed skin. It is cools down my irritated skin; causes no breakouts and is a handy spritz on scorching summer days when u just need a cooling effect on your face. Works great whenever I feel I have itchy inflamed skin.

The Body Shop Honey Mania Hand Cream is my all-time favourite and I’m already through the 4th tube now. It smells amazing, is extremely moisturising and leaves your hands feeling soft and supple. Its travel friendly and packaging too is durable unlike some tin tube packaging.

I normally have the travel size of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock in my bag. If some unexpected travel pops up which requires me to be exposed to the sun this is handy to top it up. As they say never leave home without sun cream and always reapply if you are out in the sun for longer period.

I always have a lipstick or lip crayon stashed and currently it’s Maybelline Lip Gradation in the shade Fuscia an absolute favourite and I have a full post on this.

To soothe my tired computer addicted puffy eyes I find the Garnier Eye roll on to be extremely helpful. The metal roll on mechanism instantly cools and soothes my eyes.

Nivea Hydro Care Lip Balm SPF 15 an absolute essential. Period!!

Tic Tacs keep my occasional smelly breath away and a saviour just before attending meetings.

Like occasional smelly breath, smelly armpits or sweaty self are a strict no-no so a travel sized body mist is crucial always and at the moment Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime is my best buddy. The fragrance just hits you and wakes you up instantly. It is extremely citrus(y) with a hint of fruity fragrance and is perfect for summers and dull grey days.

These are some of my essentials which do keep on rotating as per season; so, what’s in your bag and what are your favourite items that are an absolute essential?
